The Freya is a versatile, stable, hybrid mini-paraglider suitable for mountain descents, dynamic/ridge soaring or speed wing style proximity flying - an excellent introduction to all aspects of mini-wing flight.

 

The Freya was designed with a lower aspect ratio compared to most mini-paraglider on the market, giving it high passive stability. Enjoy its comfortable pitch stability in flight combined with a fun-lively response.  Trimmers fully open (steep trim), it can hug the terrain, and link turns in speed-wing fashion.  Trimmers fully closed (flat trim), generates excellent glide and sink rate for easy soaring capabilities.

Using the trimmer systems wide range, the Freya has a dynamic yet solid feel with an extensive brake range and predictable stall characteristics. The flare is exceptional for its class. The wing has velcro openings at the tips to release dirt and debris making it perfect for dune flying.

The Freya balances ease of kiting all while having dynamic yet precise control in flight. This wing is intended for pilots of all skill level. Lightly loaded in the larger sizes makes for an easy friendly intro to mini-wings. Highly loaded in the smaller sizes the Freya becomes advanced with responsive handling yet still retaining stress free pitch stability.
